"One Million Years BC: Bigger and Uncut"

Films: When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970)

Alias: Plesiosaur, Chasmosaurus, Maneater-plant, Primitive Rhedosaurus, Rhamphorhynchus, Mosasaur, Giant crabs

Type: Ancient

Location: Ocean/Desert/Jungle

Height/Weight: Ranges from that of a large dog to that of a small house.

Affiliation: Good (Rhedosaurus), neutral (everyone else)

Summary: Some might say that this takes place around the same time of Tumak's perils. Same company producing it, after all. But damn, if things don't get more chaotic than they did in the last venture!

History: This prehistoric tale chronicles the story of Sanna, a would-be sacrifice on the run from her own tribe. Along the way, she finds love, and even finds herself adopted by a totally-not-Rhedosaurus. That's not to say that her friends/captors don't face saurian hijinks, too.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The Plesiosaur is roasted and eaten by the tribe, the Chasmosaurus is led off a cliff, and the Rhamphorhynchus gets its wing torn before being pushed off a cliff. Everyone else bears witness to the creation of the moon itself, tidal waves included.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Honestly, it's hard to tell which Hammer prehistoric world is worse. The one with all the giant dinosaurs, or the place where they look even more vicious. That said, the Rhedosaurus is fairly nice, and will certainly be winning Dad/Mom of the Year very soon.

Trivia: -This was actually the third in Hammer Production's "Cave Girls" series, preceded by "One Million Years B.C.", "Slave Girls", and followed by "Creatures the World Forgot".

-There was going to be a T-Rex in the film, but Hammer's head thought its stance looked too much like a gay person. And that was a problem WHY?!
